Terms of Service
Last updated June 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Keepsake. We have kept them as plain as we can. By using the app, you agree to them.
Using Keepsake
Keepsake is a personal app for keeping notes about the people you care about and planning thoughtful gifts. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You need to be at least 13 years old to use it.
The App Store version
If you downloaded Keepsake from the Apple App Store, your use is also covered by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. Where that agreement and these terms differ for the App Store version, Apple’s applies.
Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in secure, and for what happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you think someone else has gained access.
Your content is yours
The people, clues, moments, ideas, plans, and photos you add stay yours. You give us only the limited permission we need to store and show that content back to you, and to operate the features you use. We do not claim ownership of it, and we will not use it to advertise to you.
Fair use
Please do not:
- Use Keepsake to break the law or harm others.
- Upload content you do not have the right to, or that is unlawful or abusive.
- Try to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we may suspend or close your account.
Reminders and notifications
Keepsake can send reminders about upcoming moments. These depend on the information you add and on your device settings, so please do not rely on them as the only way to remember something important.
The app is provided as is
We work hard to make Keepsake reliable and delightful, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error free, or fit for every purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, Keepsake is provided “as is” without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of it.
Ending things
You can stop using Keepsake and delete your account at any time. If you do, your content is removed from our live systems as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app grows. When we make a meaningful change, we will update this page and the date above, and make significant changes clear in the app. Continuing to use Keepsake after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where The Byte Stack is established. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer laws of your own country.
